Dr. Boysen is a Master Certified executive leadership coach, author, and professor within the College of Business at º£½ÇÉçÇø. Having worked as an HR leader across multiple industries, her experience in enabling positive change enables her to bring a blend of corporate leadership and team dynamics into her classrooms and coaching engagements. She supports her students to grow as leaders, achieve results, and to develop their own leadership competencies. 




Camille Byrd O’Quin

Mrs. O’Quin has 20 years of experience working as a Speech-Language Pathologist.  She is Assistant Professor and Coordinator of Clinical Education of the Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology program at Lewis.  She is a doctoral candidate in Special Education at Illinois State University with an expected graduation date of 2021.  Mrs. O’Quin’s research involves the valuation of African American Vernacular English, examination of disproportionality in special education, expansion of culturally responsive teaching practices in urban education, and differential diagnosis of cultural linguistic diverse learners.  Mrs. O’Quin holds teaching and administration certifications with the Illinois State Board of Education as well as certification through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.  She serves as Chair of Professional Development of the Division for Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Exceptional Learners of the Council for Exceptional Children.






Dr. Vesna Markovic

Dr. Markovic, associate professor and Chair of the Justice, Law and Public Safety Studies Department, has developed a robust career in criminal justice doing research and publishing in areas focusing on terrorism and transnational organized crime. She is a senior lecturer for the NATO Center of Excellence Defense Against Terrorism in Ankara, Turkey, and has lectured worldwide on suicide bombings and terrorism. She began her professional career in academia as an assistant professor at the University of New Haven, and eventually became Assistant Dean for the College of Criminal Justice. She also served as Principal Investigator on several grants and served as director for the Institute for the Study of Violent Groups (ISVG).  She previously worked as a Private Investigator doing corporate due diligence Investigations. She also volunteers with Hang Time/Her Time, in Bridgeport CT on reentry issues, and the Andrew Holmes Foundation in Chicago, IL.

Dr. Gina Martinez is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Engineering, Computing and Mathematical Sciences and the Director of Electrical and Computer Engineering programs at º£½ÇÉçÇø. She earned a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and an M.S. in Computer Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology, and a B.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. As an educator, Gina is interested in engineering curriculum design, especially in providing accessible and inclusive engineering education to students of diverse backgrounds and learning styles. Her technical areas of interest include the internet of things, computer architecture and embedded systems.

Clare K. Rothschild is Professor of Scripture Studies at º£½ÇÉçÇø (USA) and Professor Extraordinary, Department Ancient Studies at Stellenbosch University (South Africa). Her main research interests are Luke-Acts, the Muratorian Fragment, and the Apostolic Fathers. Clare spent a year as Humboldt Fellow in Munich researching her book, Hebrews as Pseudepigraphon, on the Pauline attribution of this early Christian text. Her current research focuses on the Epistle of Barnabas, on which she is preparing a commentary for the Hermeneia series. She serves as General Editor of Early Christianity as well as the SBL series, Writings from the Greco-Roman World. In her spare time, she enjoys yoga and playing the cello in various small orchestras and ensembles.
