Dear PLT Subscribers, Lewis Faculty, Staff, and Students, and the Community and members We Serve

Part of the Philip Lynch Theatre’s mission is to provide the community it serves with a diverse experience of cultural events, and we will continue to provide that opportunity with convenient box office ticket purchases that are now available online!  We will also continue convenient box office practices by phone or in person.  º£½ÇÉçÇø’s Philip Lynch Theatre (PLT) provides its faculty, staff and students with the benefit of receiving free or low cost tickets to events at the PLT.  Season ticket holders will be able to continue to save on a discount from adult individual ticket prices and guaranteed preferential seating for reserved seating events.  The theatre-going community will have the opportunity to obtain a ticket to any available seat in the theatre on a first-come-first-served basis.

In accordance with Illinois State Fire Marshal regulations, we request that you take a moment to identify the emergency exits closest to you. We have checked these exits and the other emergency equipment in this building and verify they are available for use in case of emergency. In case of an emergency, pay close attention to the announcer or your usher for important life-saving information.

The theatre seating capacity is set according to the Illinois State Fire Marshall regulations.  Therefore, we can only accommodate a specific number (242) of people.  For un-ticketed free events, you are advised to arrive early.  Once capacity has been reached, additional patrons will not be allowed to enter the theatre.

For your safety, we ask that during the performance all of our guests remain in their seats until the house lights are fully up at the end of each act. In addition to the safety concerns, the actors in our performances work very hard for your enjoyment, and exiting during the curtain call is extremely discourteous to the performers.
