The Lewis University Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing program offers two different pathways for adults to fast track your Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree:
- Degree Completion Program – For adults who have a 2.75 GPA, pass the entrance exam, and have completed your General Education courses and nursing prerequisite courses.
- Career Transition – For adults who have completed a bachelor’s in a non-nursing major.
Lewis faculty will work with you to develop a compassionate, holistic approach to patient care - it is about addressing physical symptoms while caring for the heart, mind and soul. You will become an expert practitioner and innovative leader who will transform practice in an increasingly complex healthcare setting.

No matter what academic background your bachelor’s degree is in, º£½ÇÉçÇø’s Accelerated BSN program enables you to fast-track your career to becoming a Registered Nurse in as little as 5 semesters.

The baccalaureate degree program in nursing/master’s degree program in nursing/Doctor of Nursing Practice program and post-graduate APRN certificate program at º£½ÇÉçÇø is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education ().

For more than 40 years º£½ÇÉçÇø has provided nursing graduates to Chicago and its surrounding suburban hospitals and primary care facilities. As a result, our extensive network of healthcare partners provides our students with a variety of learning experiences in the in-patient and community settings placing our students where vulnerable patients and populations are located, tackling real world healthcare issues.

Admission Requirements
Enrollment is limited to students who:
- Have a 2.75 Admission GPA
- Meet and submit required admission Test Scores:
- Composite ACT 22 or greater with a minimum reading score of 22 and minimum math score of 22
- Composite SAT 1100 or greater with a minimum reading score of 560 and minimum math score of 540
- If unable to submit ACT or SAT, then the ability to take and submit an official TEAS result as listed below
- Successfully pass the TEAS on the first attempt
- If unable to take the TEAS, the KAT can be taken at º£½ÇÉçÇø
- Have satisfied the science and nursing prerequisites courses.
