“The play serves as a stinging indictment of the state of public schools in Chicago and, more broadly, the country, Mr. Holter deftly embeds his finger-pointing in the drama itself. We see beyond the surface dysfunction to the toll it takes on the lives, and careers, of the teachers, whose dedication to their students comes across movingly, even when they are complaining about them.”
The “Exit Strategy “cast features the following º£½ÇÉçÇø students: Mackenzie Maher, Shiraz Khan, Molly Gustafson, Isaac Birgen, Devin Kenebrew, Joannaly Sanchez and Rachel Kaczorowski
Risha Tenae will serve as a guest director of this production, bringing to life a harsh reality impacting the lives of teachers alongside Set Designer, Andrew Nelsen, and Costume designer, Celeste Mackey. Working behind the scenes are Nicholas Brand (stage manager), and Dave Pomatto (assistant technical director).
