Published: July 10, 2017.

Make history come alive this summer with fun activities at Lincoln Landing in Lockport. Summer interns Troy Costabile of Lockport and Kole Torres of Carol Stream will be conducting free programs that will engage children, families and the general public. Lincoln Landing is located at 200 E 9th St, Lockport, IL 60441, adjoining the Gaylord Building.

The º£½ÇÉçÇø College of Education graduate students created the programming that examines Lincoln, Lockport and the I&M Canal. The Give Something Back Foundation sponsored these student internships. They will be able to share the story of why Lincoln Landing is so integral to not only Lockport, but to the State of Illinois.
